Although endoscopic surgery puts less strain on the patient than other methods, we feel it is important for the patient to wake up after the anaesthetic in pleasant, personal surroundings.
This is why the patient can talk to a nurse at any time in the recovery room at the Altonaer Strasse Day Clinic. Drinks and rusk are available, and the nurse helps the patient regain her normal mobility after only 1 to 2 hours.
Thus the patient has human contact yet the necessary amount of rest in the recovery room directly after the operation.
