Dear Altonaer Strasse Day Clinic
Some things in life should be mentioned and not go unnoticed:
I was extremely nervous before my appointment in your clinic on 17 April. However, what I experienced was simply wonderful. A warm welcome, an open ear, friendly looks, a caring attitude, not to mention the kindness of the words "sleep well" and "sweet dreams". ... never had the feeling of being just a number.

 ... I used to be a paediatric nurse ... , and worked for years on the gynaecology ward so I think I can give a completely objective view. The clinic, atmosphere, staff, nurses and doctors were all fantastic. I felt safe and secure from the very beginning. ... I found it very comforting to be able to ask a doctor about my condition before night rest. Maybe I was lucky, but this calming effect was half the healing. ...
P.S. I didn't need a single pain tablet!

... I am writing to thank the experienced surgeons and the helpful nurses for their work.
I was referred to the clinic by my gynaecologist due to primary sterility. You can't imagine how much hope I had placed on this operation, also because my marriage and my future were being put to the test.
Now I can happily tell you that, 8 months after the operation, I'm 3 months pregnant.
I hope I won't have to depend on doctors again but I wouldn't like to be without them.

... You said that I should use the time I had at home to do all the things I had put off until then... I was able to ask all questions, stupid or otherwise, and always got friendly, detailed answers. ...
It's also fascinating that such an operation is possible with such small incisions. I no longer have any pain and even taking out the stitches wasn't in the least bit unpleasant.

 ... I was in your clinic for a sterilization at the start of February. I have never experienced doctors and hospitals like in your clinic! I was very impressed by the pleasant, friendly, professional and patient-oriented treatment.
I found it particularly positive that:
 - you had time for a detailed preoperative discussion, answering all my questions and showing me the rooms
- the person who operated on me was also the person with whom I had the preoperative discussion
- you said hello to me again shortly before the operation
- Beate, the "angel in green", looked after everything so well afterwards...

 ... It was my first operation and I was really scared before it, and especially scared of the anaesthetic!
However, even the very friendly welcome at reception got rid of some of my uneasiness. Then, when I was asked to "change", I was very thankful for the tip with the socks, I really felt more dressed.
The nurse was so understanding, I really enjoyed being "lulled to sleep" by her. Jokes were being made even as I was getting the anaesthetic, which really set my mind at rest. ...

 ... The diagnosis of a fallopian pregnancy was a shock to me and I was frightened. However, your competence made me calm down.
The way people were treated was also fantastic, something you don't experience everywhere. I was treated in such a wonderful, friendly and understanding way and I'm thankful to Dr ... for referring me to you.
